Battery Box and Remote Control: How to Control Your Model
The heart of any motorised model is the battery box with a built-in receiver. The Battery Box 4.0 (M-0006) includes a battery, receiver and remote control with two joysticks, and charges via USB. The housing has technical holes so you can securely mount it in the model. The Battery Box 6.0 (M-0019) comes with an analogue remote control. As a compatible alternative from another manufacturer, there is also a Remote Control with RC Receiver (S-0001).
Motorising Your Model in Three Steps
- Install the motor and, if necessary, the servo in the desired position.
- Plug the motor cable into the battery box. If the cable is too short, use a 25 cm extension cable or 50 cm.
- Switch on the battery box and pair the remote control. Done.

Will It Fit My Model?
Motors, servos and battery boxes have standard-sized studs and technical holes. You can therefore install them in models from any manufacturer, whether it is a vehicle, construction vehicle or train. Electrically, the parts work together in the Mould King modular system. If you want to combine parts from other systems, check the connectors beforehand.

Which Mould King Motors Are Available at Bausteinreich?
You can get the M motor (M-0004), the fast L Hyper Speed motor (M-0001), the XL motor (M-0002) and the Servo Motor (M-0005). These are compatible with the Battery Box 4.0 (M-0006) and 6.0 (M-0019) with remote control, as well as 25 cm and 50 cm extension cables. We also stock three compatible parts from other manufacturers.
What Do I Need to Motorise a Model?
At least one battery box with a receiver and remote control, and one motor. A steerable vehicle also requires a servo. If the motor cable is not long enough to reach the battery box, an extension cable will help.
What Is the Difference Between Battery Box 4.0 and 6.0?
Both are receivers with batteries for the Mould King modular system. The 4.0 (M-0006) comes with a remote control with two joysticks and charges via USB. The 6.0 (M-0019) belongs to the newer generation and comes with an analogue remote control.
Are Mould King Motors Also Compatible with Sets from Other Manufacturers?
Mechanically, yes: motors and battery boxes have standard-sized studs and technical holes and can be installed in any building block model. Do I Need Batteries?
The Battery Box 4.0 is charged via a USB cable. Some remote controls require AAA batteries, which are not included, such as the remote control with RC receiver (S-0001). The exact specifications are provided on the respective product page.
